Happy Homeowners & Their Happy States
If you were to guess which states had the happiest homeowners, what factors would you consider?
Amerisleep, a memory-foam mattress company, recently released a survey to find where the happiest people live – they looked at different factors to rank each state’s level of happiness with a few key ones below:
- Population with depression
- Population with insufficient sleep
- Number of health clubs
- Average working hours
- Average commute time
- Average house size
Each of their factors were ranked using a 10-pound scale, with 10 being the best. Amerisleep’s order of importance of each factor went as follows:
- Health
- Education
- Work-Life Balance
- Environment
- Safety
- Housing
- Income
For Housing, they found that Hawaii fell last with the smallest average housing size, and Utah ranking first for housing size.
So which state has the happiest people of all? 2021 went to the state of North Dakota!
