Three ways writing a positive review can relieve some seasonal stress
We’ve all heard the adage, “It’s better to give than to receive,” but we’re betting you didn’t know that could apply to writing online reviews too. That’s right, we’re gifting you another message on this subject, but this one is from a special holiday angle.
Writing a positive review for a business or customer experience you loved can doubly serve as a gratitude journal entry or a thank-you note, which are two practices that show up on many positive-thinking tip lists.
After all, a good review helps everyone involved. Here’s how:
- The act can be a boost for the writer’s morale and mental health. After all, practicing gratitude is shown to elevate a person’s mindset and improve the feeling of being connected.
- Every positive review or rating improves a business’ digital standing, and we all know how important that is. (Plus, it’s always good to hear that a job was done well – especially in a public forum.) Research continues to show that people trust online reviews, and almost every homebuyer these days is using the internet at some point in their journey.
- Potential customers looking for a product, service or real estate provider will appreciate the information. Plus, the more reviews a company has – positive or negative – the more legitimate it seems to many consumers.
What better way to spread some holiday cheer – and relieve some personal stress – than telling someone, or a whole team of someones, how much you loved working with them in 2022? Our teams have certainly appreciated your business and friendship this year. Hopefully, this post has you thinking about what operations deserve some digital kudos. If you do decide it’s us, we would appreciate it, but certainly don’t feel obligated. We always aim to deliver the best customer experience because that’s what our customers and transactions deserve. We do love to see reviews on Google and Facebook, though!
