3 tips to hit home runs on social media all season
A strong social media presence continues to be the best way to meet your potential customers where they are. We’ve talked about this for a while now, but there are always ways to spring your efforts forward in the digital world.
Post pictures and videos of YOU. While stock photos certainly have a place in your marketing efforts, your friends and followers would much rather see posts – and pictures – of you. Go beyond formal headshots by showcasing your team’s personality with candid photos of everyone working in the office and around the community.
Interact with your audience. If someone comments on a post, respond to it. Taking the time to review every comment and respond with a sincere answer goes a long way. Remember, it’s called “social” media for a reason. No matter what platform you’re using, it’s a two-way street, not your personal megaphone.
Don’t forget to ask for followers. Creating next-level content is only half the battle. Now it’s time to make sure people see what you have to say. While this sounds old-fashioned, the best way to get more followers is to ask virtually and in real life. You can ask to be followed, liked, and tagged on Facebook and Instagram, and make sure you are reciprocating.
Keep telling your story to your communities and customers, and we guarantee you’ll always have an audience. Make sure you’re following us on your preferred social media platform, and let us know how we’re doing – in the social media sphere and around the closing table.
