When stepping up your game in this area, here are three video-centered tips to help you start knocking it out of the park.
Fully commit to doing video. Record your properties and yourself, then share over social media and email. Seventy-three percent of people said they prefer to learn about a service from a video. It’s also a good way to get your messages out to the masses – or provide a personal touch to an individual follow-up. Plan out what you’re going to say – of course – and remember lighting, sound, and editing, but don’t think it needs to be perfect. Remember, authenticity is what matters the most.
Set up a YouTube channel. Once you shoot or produce these clips, what’s next? Sure, you can post them on social media or attach them to email, but there’s one more thing you should be doing: Posting your productions to your own branded YouTube channel. All it takes is a Gmail account, and you’ll be ready to get started on the second most-visited website in the world.
Ask for testimonials and reviews. Let’s all make summer the season of reviews and referrals. Any good review makes an impact, but doing it on video is best! Ask your clients if they’d be willing to record a short testimonial on their phone. If you make it easy and let them know how valuable it is to your business, they’ll be more likely to help.
